Roll two letters a turn, build eight words in nineteen turns, and chase the perfect board. Free to play, no account needed.
A word game ruled by the dice
WyldTyle is a free word-building game that mixes the luck of the dice with the skill of a crossword. Over 19 turns you roll random letters and place them into eight word slots of different lengths — from a quick two-letter word up to a seven-letter challenge. The dice decide which letters you get; you decide where they go. Spell valid English words, score points for every letter, and chase the perfect-board bonus.
How a game works
- Choose your roll. Each turn, call for one consonant and one vowel, two consonants, or two vowels — pick what your board needs most.
- Place your letters. Drop the two rolled letters into any open slots across your eight words. Wild tiles let you fill the gaps you can't.
- Build all eight words. Fill every slot over 19 turns, use your one trade to fix a near-miss, and complete all eight words for the 20-point Wyld Pyle bonus.
Why players love it
A full game takes only a few minutes, so it's easy to fit in a round — and just as easy to play "one more." Play solo with hints on hand when a word won't come, or challenge up to three friends to a multiplayer match. Create a free account to track your high scores, climb the leaderboard, and keep your game history across every device.
