A new home page, and a new look

WyldTyle has a new home page and a new look to go with it. The game itself is unchanged; what's different is how quickly you get to it and how much the page tells you when you arrive.

A home page that knows where you are

Signed in, the page opens with a greeting and your streak, then one short Up next list of everything waiting on you: your turn in a match, a challenge, a friend request, each answerable right there. Below it is today's challenge, drawn as one box per level: cleared with its score, in progress with its turn, or locked with the rule for opening it spelled out in plain words.

Finish the day's run and the card turns into your result: your total, where you rank today, how you did against Tyler, a Share button, and a countdown to tomorrow's board, plus how your friends did if they've played. Your recent games sit underneath, with Wyld Pyles in gold.

New here? The page leads with today's challenge and a Play button, no account needed, and shows how the game works in three pictures rather than three paragraphs.

A new look

The name now starts with a tile: the W is the same kind of tile you play with. Page titles use the same slab face, and all the text is set in Bitter, the family the tiles already used, so the pages and the board finally read as one thing. It all follows your theme, Classic, Dark or Neon.

The rest of the site, to match

History lists each game with its score first. Friends has a Challenge button beside every friend that starts a match with them already picked. The leaderboard highlights your row. Profile, sign-up and the menu got the same treatment, and the menu now has an About & legal section, so privacy and terms are a tap away in the apps too.
