Delete your WyldTyle account

You can delete your WyldTyle account and associated personal data at any time. This page describes the process and what happens to your data.
Delete from inside the app
- Sign in at wyldtyle.com or in the WyldTyle mobile app.
- Open Profile.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Re-type your username to confirm and submit.
Your account is deleted immediately. You will be signed out and your session ended.
Delete by email
If you cannot access the app, email support@6831plays.com from the address associated with your account, or include your WyldTyle username, and we will process the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Username, display name, and avatar selection
- Password hash and security question/answer hash
- Friend relationships
- Push-notification tokens (mobile)
- Active sessions (you are signed out everywhere)
What is retained, and why
- Game and multiplayer history is kept and re-attributed to "Deleted User" so that other players' records, leaderboards, and completed multiplayer matches remain intact.
- A random internal account identifier (UUID) is retained to keep historical purchase records attributable for tax and accounting purposes. On its own this identifier cannot be used to identify you.
- Purchase records held by RevenueCat (our payments partner) may be retained for the period required by tax and financial regulations. If you want those records deleted from RevenueCat as well, email us and we will arrange this on your behalf.
